The Corporate Softball League is a coed softball league located in Troy, NY.
|

The Corporate Softball League was officially founded in 1989 by members of the now defunct
Workingman's Softball League. The WSL consisted of Capital District business sponsored
teams that played games in numerous locations, including Siena College, Frear Park, Geer
Field, and Knickerbacker Park. In 1999, during a time of league uncertainty and in jeopardy
of folding, Jim Cole and Paul Butch met at the Troy Brew Pub to "step up to the plate" and
revamp the league. Thus, the Corporate Softball League was born. The CSL started with 8
teams in 1999, and has now increased to 14 teams in 2007. The league currently plays its
games at Knickerbacker Park, located in Lansingburgh/North Troy. We are also a member of the Lynn's
Softball organization.

The league offers many attractive features:

- Regular Season - 12 games ... from May thru July.
- Playoffs - in August.
- Playoff series are Best-of-3.
- Games played Monday thru Friday only.
- Softball Complex at Knickerbacker Park features 3 fenced fields with lights.
- 1 Umpire per game.
- Games times are 6:15 PM, 7:45 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Web site with scores and standings that are updated daily.
- FREE advertising for team sponsors on Sponsors page.
- League has $2M Liability Insurance policy.
